What is Today’s Teen?

Everyday Today’s Teen Online gives teens the ability to be published in a national publication. These articles assist them by giving them confidence in their writing abilities, aids their college applications, prepares them for future jobs in the communications industry, and allows them opportunities in media that they might not otherwise have a chance at.

As an extra-curricular academic activity Today’s Teen gives contributers the chance to showcase their skills, discover their passions and use this forum as a cathartic method.  They are able to earn community service hours, attend events, and highlight important issues in today’s world.

Unlike many other publications for teens–Today’s Teen Online is written entirely by and for teenagers. We feel that teens are the best resource to communicate with other teens. While they are given expert sources and guidance from editors, the thoughts and ideas communicated via this website are the thoughts and ideas of today’s teenager.

We strive for an honest, uncensored outlet for real issues so that we, in turn, can help solve real problems that teens today are facing.

What does my donation go towards?

• The costs of web hosting, design, and maintenance.
• Opportunities for teens to cover events.
• Building a scholarship fund for teens in media studies and communications.
• Prizes for art and writing contests.
• Staff management and round the clock editorial assistance.
