Write for Today’s Teen
Today’s Teen seeks to publish honest, first-person articles, blogs and columns. Do not submit APA style. Do not submit 5-paragraph essays. Do not tell us what you found out about George Washington on Wikipedia. Do not submit a research paper you had to write for English class.
If you wouldn’t want to read it yourself, don’t expect it to be published!
Freelance (or non-staffer) pieces are welcome. Please adhere to the following format and guidelines:
- Include the name under which you would like to be published and your real name, location, grade level and age in each piece.
- Please include a statement of either “I would like to receive community service for this piece” or “I do not wish to receive community service for this piece.”
- Include the statement “I wrote this piece myself and did not steal, duplicate or infringe upon the copyright of another author.”
- Kindly email the editor with a brief description of the piece BEFORE writing it to ensure that we have not already published a similar article, or have one in queue.
- Submit assignment requests to (Editor@todaysteenonline.com) Editor (at) todaysteenonline (dot) com
- Articles longer than 4 pages will not be accepted.
- There must be the possibility to contact you personally, your private data will of course never be shared
- Every activity is logged by the server administrator, every attempt to evade security mechanisms can lead to legal consequences and will cause an instant lock of your author account
Applications for staff writers should email the (editor@todaysteenonline.com) editor (at) todaysteenonline (dot) com with samples of writing (yes, this can even be school assignments) name, age, grade level and location.
