When it comes to dating, girls do pretty obvious (and sometimes not so obvious) things to attract their boyfriends. It makes you wonder—what actually works? Wonder no more. We’ve come up with a list of the top 5 things that girls do that guys love!
1) The Casual Touch
A lot of guys really love this. There is a time during the date that, out of the blue, your girlfriend will place a hand on your arm while she’s laughing, or pick something out of your hair, or fix your collar. There’s something so blissful about a surprising, relaxed, sweet touch like this. It’s so beautiful and tiny and makes us feel all warm and happy.
2) Being Good in a Crowd
A huge turn-off for guys is when a woman acts possessive or turns silent in company of others. But, we guys love it when a girl they’re with is comfortable around new people without getting quiet and hovering around the sideline of a conversation with that creepy mute focus that you see in the film “Carrie” where Sissy Spacek goes crazy and telekinetically murders an entire town. She’s a great actress and perhaps a nice woman, but I don’t want to date Sissy Spacek. Yet you women out there who tackle social situations, (the “screw it” crew) who just go with the flow and don’t shrink like people say violets do — you’re tops!
3) Girl Smell
How the hell do they do it? We take showers, use shampoo and cologne, yet how come birds don’t follow our scent when we walk outside? The way girls smell is one of the wonders of science, right next to dark matter. We somehow feel attracted to girls with heavenly scents. I mean, girls also use the same method as we do but still their hair smells like hope and passion fruit! HOW? I don’t know, but I still want another whiff.
4) Accents
We guys love foreign women. And I mean all of them. It doesn’t matter if they’re French or British, we love they way they talk and do things differently. If we meet someone with any kind of accent, we set our eyes on them. I think we should all just fall in love with people who have different accents than we do. I could listen to a girl with a French accent read the news and still be turned on.
5) A Good Comedian
When you guys are in a conversation with girls, you want it to be engaging. You don’t want to just be staring into space or looking into their eyes the whole time they’re talking. That’s why we love girls with a sense of humor. Open up and make us laugh—and we’re yours.
