Okay guys.

The hardest part for you is over — you asked her out (or she asked you) and you’ve set up a date. However, the phase between the time she agrees to go out with you and the time you two meet won’t be easy.

You want to look your best and impress her with your wit and charm. To give you some tips on how to prepare yourself, we’ve come up with some predate rituals every guy should use to assure that his date gets off to a good start.

1) Shine Your Shoes.

We all know that shoes are important to young ladies, but when this fact of life is fixed with first-date nervousness on her part, which means she’ll be looking down when she’s feeling a little shy, you can guarantee she’ll notice your footwear. Because shoe polishing has become somewhat of a lost art, however, it’s quite common to see a well-dressed man wearing nice shoes. Three days before your date, quickly check the shoes you might wear and make sure you polish them with a shoe shiner or take them to a cobbler if they’re in need of repair.

2) Clean Your Car.

Not just based on your appearance, but your ride will have to be good enough for your date to be impressed. If your car is a mud-stained vehicle with empty soda cans or leftover food, your date will see the real you represented by your car. So spend some time vacuuming your seats and give your car a wash to give it a nice shine.

3)    Smell Good.

You want your scent to last the whole date, so use what you have; deodorants, aftershave, and even cologne.

4) Fix Your Face.

Girls can spend hours on manicure, pedicure, and waxing before a date. Consider it common courtesy to shave, pluck nose hairs and eyebrows, and clean your ears.

5) Iron Your Shirts.

Just like going to an interview, on a first date, you don’t normally get a second chance to make a first impression, so dressing appropriately is really important. The day before your date, clean and iron a few of your favorite shirts. That way you’ll have a cool selection to choose from when selecting your first-date attire.

6) Freshen Your Breath.

Putting some preparation before a date can really make the day go smoothly. Pack some items like breath mints or gum in your pocket if you date requires a romantic meal and impress her with your smile by brushing your teeth before you go out.

7) Plan Ahead.

The date will be a disaster if you find out there aren’t any tables at the restaurant available. To avoid any mishaps, confirm your plans with her a day before your date and confirm your reservations too. We guarantee some chances that your lady will want to do this again with you.

8 ) Exercise.

To look and feel great on your first date, do some workout routines to make yourself look fit. You will feel energized and reduce some jitters!
