Emma Watson was merely eleven years old when she was plucked from obscurity and shoved into the spotlight. Now a student at Brown University, “Hermione Granger” is coming to an end, and yet Emma Watson’s fashion career is only just beginning.

In the photo I’ve selected, Emma is wearing an outfit that would be perfect for a day at the mall. Her outfit (like her fashion) is simple and elegant, and is very easy to copy.

Emma’s simple, black vest is the most important part of her outfit. I like this vest from Forever 21 ($20) because it has a similar lapel and a fitted waist:

Emma mixes up the classic white tee-shirt with elongated sleeves. I like this top ($13) from Forever 21 because it has a relaxed fit and is 100% cotton:

Emma wears a dark-wash pair of skinny jeans. I am a fan of Old Navy jeans because they last forever, come in many colors, and are often on great sales — so I selected this pair (sale, $13) as a match to Emma’s:

For her feet, Emma wears a pair of plain gray flats that look both comfortable and pretty. I like this Blowfish pair ($39) from Piperlime:

Accessories can make or break an outfit. Fortunately for Emma, she hardly ever makes a fashion faux-pas. On one wrist, Emma is wearing a collection of dark bracelets. Any leather or metal bangles will do, but I especially like these bracelets from Ruche ($16) because they are a bit different than your normal jewelry:

On her other wrist, Emma wears a watch with a black wristband. Although there thousands of options out there, I like this fun watch ($40) from Modcloth:
