Patrick Stump. Known to most of you as the lead singer of award winning alternative rock band Fall Out Boy. With radio hits, “Suga we’re going down”, “Dance Dance”, “Thanks for the memories” and “I don’t care”.

Patrick recently told MTV News about his in-the-works album “The record is … I play everything on it. And I’m kind of being very strict about that, because it’s one of those things where I’ve always wanted to do it, but also because I’ve had a lot of friends I’ve wanted to work with, and it’s sort of a nice blanket rule to work under, because then I don’t have a sea of guests.”

“And it’s also this big, convoluted way to get me to play drums again, because I really just miss playing drums,” he jokingly added. “And there’s no reason for me to play over (FOB) Andy (Hurley), because he’s a really good drummer.”

Hmmm so what should we expect? Well Patrick, admits that “Funk is my default setting”!

In April Patrick took to the stage grasping the attention of the crowd when he performed at the Climate Earth Rally 2010, leaving gaped mouths as soulful melodies replaced his past alternative power-pop vibes.

We have a lot to anticipate from such a talented instrumentalist who is, in my opinion, one of the most crisp and addictive alternative rock vocalists.

Keep up to date on his upcoming album from his web site. As well as Friends Or Enemies.
