I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t want great skin. Having good skin means being able to go makeup-less on the days you don’t feel like wearing any.
Facials are expensive and with all the skincare commercials on TV and in magazines, how do you know what products to use, never mind having to remember an entire routine of products morning and night?
Luckily there are some foods that fit perfectly into everyone’s diet that will help beautify your skin.
No matter if you’re vegan or practically a carnivore, there is some great-skin food for everyone.
Dairy: any low fat dairy product, like cottage cheese is great for getting a healthy glow.
Protein: Eggs, lean red meat, turkey, tuna, salmon, walnuts, and Brazil nuts will contribute to overall skin-health.
Fruit: Blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, plums, avocados, mangoes, cantaloupe, grapefruit, and oranges are just a few fruits that’ll keep your skin gorgeous!
Veggies: Try some brussel sprouts, carrots, spinach, broccoli, or tomatoes to help knock out zits.
Starches: Whole wheat bread, muffins, cereals, and sweet potatoes are all good carb-loaded sources for skincare.
Other: Canola oil, flax seed, and green tea will help to detoxify your pores.
All of these foods are great for your body and skin but the best thing for great skin: water. Drinking lots of water hydrates your skin and keeps it healthy and fresh looking all the time.
