On Tuesday June 15th, Young Money Millionaire released his debut album titled Thank Me Later.
This 14 song album has singles on it like “Over” and “Find Your Love. After listening to this album, I have no doubt that Drakes fans will be just as impressed with his singing as they are with his rapping. For a first album Drake pulled out some pretty impressive duets featuring artists such as Alicia Keys, T.I, Swizz Beatz, The Dream, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, and Jay Z. This album has high expectations with Lil Wayne predicting it will sell two million in its first week. Thank Me Later is slated to be the most popular album of 2010.
My favorite song on the album would have to be Shut It Down which is Drake featuring the Dream. It includes Drake singing as well as rapping.
Thank Me Later is a great mix of love songs with insane beats. This album is a unique compilation of sound. After listening to this album I would give it a 5 star rating. I understand why Drake has so many fans– he truly does seem to please everybody.
